국문 초록

In the early days after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, in order to better enlighten the people and pool their strengths to devote themselves to national construction, a massive literacy campaign was launched from 1949 to 1959 under the call of the Party and the government. In Shandong Province, out of the practical need to build the politics and economy of the province, especially in rural areas, and in response to the earnest aspirations of the broad masses of the people who longed to be “liberated” both physically and mentally, under the leadership of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, the basic links such as the organization, team, content, and propaganda construction of literacy campaigns were coordinated, and the literacy campaign was rapidly launched across the rural areas of the province. By the end of the 1950s, remarkable achievements had been made in the literacy campaign in rural areas of Shandong Province. While improving their personal cultural literacy, the broad masses of peasants strengthened their political identity with the Communist Party of China and promoted the development of agricultural production and technological progress to a certain extent.

영문 초록

新中国成立初期，为更好地启发民智、汇聚民力以投入国家建设，在党和政府的号召下，于1949—1959 年开展了声势浩大的扫盲运动。山东省出于建设全省特别是农村地区政治、经济的现实需要和回应广大人民渴望“翻身”又“翻心”的殷切诉求，在省委、省政府的领导下，统筹扫盲组织、队伍、内容和宣传建设等基本环节，于全省农村范围内迅速展开扫盲运动。到20 世纪50 年代末，山东省农村地区的扫盲运动取得了显著成效，广大农民群众在提升个人文化素养的同时，强化了对中国共产党的政治认同，并在一定程度上促进了农业生产的发展和技术的进步。
