국문 초록

漢字에 대한 이해와 구사 능력은 국어의 올바른 이해 및 효과적 활용 능력을 높여 주며, 한자문화권의 동북아시아가 경제적ㆍ문화적으로 점차 그 비중을 증대해 가는 국제적 조류에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있게 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 한자 이해 능력의 필요성에 따라, 고려대학교에서는 2004학년 입학생부터 졸업 자격의 하나로 한자이해능력인증시험을 실시하고 있다. 본고에서는 고려대 한자인증시험의 현황 및 앞으로의 발전 방안에 대해서 검토해 보았다. 현황 부분에서는 고려대 재학생의 한자 졸업 자격 취득 방법, 고려대 한자인증시험의 대상으로 삼고 있는 「고려대 기초한자 2,100자」, 한자인증시험 문제 유형, 한자인증시험 응시자 및 합격률 등에 대해서 살펴보았다. 또 발전 방안 부분에서는 시험 문제의 난이도 조절, 합격 기준차등화에 대한 고려, 한자인증시험 대비 강좌 및 교재 개발, 외부 국가공인 한자시험과의 연계 모색, 시험 결과 공지 방식 개선, 한자인증시험 전용 웹사이트 개설 등의 의견을 제출하였다.

영문 초록

The comprehension and command of Chinese characters raise the ability to properly understand and utilize Korean. Also, such. abilities allow us to cope with actively the international trend of the Southeast Asia, which belongs to Chinese characters cultural sphere, becoming influential economicallyㆍculturally more and more. In accordance with such a necessity as comprehension of Chinese characters, Korea University, as one of graduation qualifications, has been making a test from new students in 2004. This paper discussed about the present situation and development method of the Chinese characters certification test of Korea University. The present situation section examined how to acquire the Chinese characters graduation qualification of Korea University undergraduates, 「Basic Chinese characters 2,100 letters」 which is a subject of the Chinese characters certification test of Korea University, types of Chinese characters certification test problems, applicants for and success rates for Chinese characters certification test, etc. The development method section proposed following opinions; adjustment of the difficulty degree of test questions, consideration of differentiation of a success, development of lectures and textbooks in preparation for the Chinese characters test, seeling linkage with outside state-recognized Chinese characters tests, improvement of test result notification methods, establishment of the website for only Chinese characters certification tests, etc.
