국문 초록

The adolescent problem has recently emerged as a serious social problem. Prior studies demonstrated the importance of analyzing the aspects between adolescents and their surroundings. As a result, the researcher discovered that family support positively influenced adolescent’s quality of life and needs satisfaction. First, the family support variable affecting adolescent quality of life appeared as emotional supportone of the subordinate variables of parental support. Second, family support variables affecting adolescent needs satisfaction emerged as emotional support, informational support and home financial situation under the parental support variables and home financial level, and the parental occupational variable under the parental socio-economic status variable. The research has limitations because few prior studies on adolescent life quality and needs satisfaction exist and because the research subjects were sampled only in general high schools in Seoul. Second, reciprocal influences under various systems could not be surveyed; this affected adolescent quality of life and needs satisfaction.
