정상 성인의 신체 인식 기능과 감각 처리에 관한 예비 연구

국문 초록

목적: 정상 성인을 대상으로 신체에 대한 인식에 대해알아보고, 신체 인식 항목 내 및 신체 인식 항목과 감각처리간의 상관관계에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 방법: 본 연구는 정상 발달을 거친 성인을 대상으로 하였으며, 편의 표본 추출 방법으로 대상자를 모집하였다. 연구의 절차는 대상자 모집, 평가 및 자료 수집, 결과 분석으로3단계로 진행되었다. 신체에 대한 인식 능력, 신체적 특성, 감각 처리 능력은 조사자가 연구 대상에게 개별 인터뷰를 통해 신체 인식에 대해 응답하도록 하는 일대일 개별 면접조사(face to face interview)방식으로 평가하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 18.0을 이용하였으며, 통계학적 유의수준은0.05로 설정하였다. 결과: 연구 대상자는 총 8명이었고, 남자는 3명(37.5%), 여자는 5명(62.5%)으로 평균 연령은 55.38±13.23세이었다. 신체 인식에 대한 평가 문항간의 상관관계는 몸의 불편감부위 탐색 정도를 제외한 모든 문항 간의 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었으나, 신체 인식과 감각 처리 간의 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 결론: 본 연구에서 적용한 신체 인식 평가 문항은 정상성인의 신체 인식을 알아보기 위해 한 문항을 제외하고 적절하다고 할 수 있으며, 정상 성인을 대상으로 신체 인식및 감각 처리에 대한 추가 연구가 필요함을 제안하는 바이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate body perception in healthy adults and the correlation between body awareness and sensory processing. This study targeted adults who had undergone normal development, and the subjects were recruited using convenience sampling. The research procedure was conducted in three stages: subject recruitment, evaluation, data collection, and analysis of results. Body awareness, physical characteristics, and sensory processing ability were evaluated using a face-to-face interview method in which the researcher asked the research subjects to respond to their body awareness through individual interviews. SPSS 18.0 was used for data analysis, and the statistical significance level was set at 0.05. There were eight study subjects, three men (37.5%) and five women (62.5%), with an average age of 55.38±13.23 years. There was a statistically significant correlation between the evaluation items on body awareness, except for the degree of exploration of body discomfort areas; however, there was no statistically significant correlation between body awareness and sensory processing. The body awareness assessment questions applied in this study can be said to be appropriate, except for one question that examined the body awareness of normal adults; additional research is needed on body awareness and sensory processing in normal adults.
