학교상담자가 인식하는 ‘좋은 학교상담자’의 특성

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학교 상담자가 인식하는 ‘좋은 학교 상담자’의 특성을 파악하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 연구 참여에 동의한 현직의 학교 상담자 146명으로부터 ‘좋은 학교 상담자란 어떤 사람인가’라는 개방형 질문을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 텍스트 네트워크 분석 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 학교 상담자들이 인식하는 ‘좋은 학교 상담자’에서 가장 중심이 되는 단어는 ‘내담자’, ‘상담’, ‘이해’로 나타났다. ‘좋은 학교 상담자’에 대한 인식의 하위구조를 분석한 결과 다섯 개의 커뮤니티로 나타났다. 다섯 개의 커뮤니티는 ‘전문가로서의 자기 향상과 체계적인 적용 능력’, ‘내담자의 문제에 대한 해결 능력’, ‘학교 구성원으로서의 탁월한 협업 능력’, ‘학생 중심의 허용적 상담 태도’, ‘상담을 통한 선한 영향력을 실현하고자 하는 태도’로 명명하였다. 이와 관련해 논의하고, 연구의 한계와 함께 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the perception of ‘good school-counselors’ in school counseling. For this purpose, data were collected through open-ended questions about 'good school counselors' from 146 school counselors who agreed to participate in the study. Text network analysis method was used to analyze the collected data. As a result of the study, the most central words in school counselors' perception of a 'good school counselor' were 'client', 'counseling', and 'understanding'. As a result of analyzing the substructure of 'good school counselors', five communities emerged. The five communities were named ‘self-improvement as an expert’, ‘systematic application ability’, ‘ability to solve clients' problem’, excellent collaboration ability as a school member’, ‘student centered and permissive counseling attitudes’, and ‘attitude to realize a positive influence through counseling’. In this regard, the discussion revealed the implications of the research results and the limitations of the research.
