일상에 대한 경험과 인식의 문제

국문 초록

본고는 한국작가 박완서의 동화와 중국작가 빙심의 아동문학 《寄小读者》를 비교연구의 대상으로 삼아 그 유사성에 주목하여 작품을 분석하고, 그들이 시대와 국가를 초월하여 다음 세대에게 전해주고자 했던 메시지의 내용적 특징을 고찰하였다. 먼저 박완서와 빙심이 자신의 경험을 바탕으로 글을 쓰고 특히 공통적으로 모녀 관계에 천착했다는 사실을 근거로 ‘세대 간 소통 강조’와 ‘어머니에 대한 기억과 사랑’으로 살펴보았다. 다음으로 산업화에 따른 도시화가 인간에게 문명의 발전을 가져다주었지만 환경 파괴와 함께 가정과 사회의 붕괴 및 인간의 황폐화를 초래한 현실에 대해 두 작가가 공통적으로 이야기하고자 한 바를 ‘자연과 생명에 대한 존중’으로 알아보았다. 경험과 기억을 문학적으로 구현하고 자연에 대한 존중을 강조하였던 박완서와 빙심의 아동문학에서의 메시지는 본고가 살펴보고자 하는 보편적이면서도 강한 생명력을 가진 일상의 가치로 읽힐 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This paper analyzes Korean author Park Wan-seo’s fairy tale and Chinese author Bingxin’s children’s literature to little readers by paying attention to the similarities, considers the content characteristics of the message they wanted to convey to the next generation, transcending the times and countries. First of all, based on the fact that Park Wan-seo and Bingxin wrote based on their experiences and focused on mother-daughter relationships in common, I looked at ‘emphasis on intergenerational communication’ and ‘memory, love for mother’. Next, what the two writers wanted to talk about in common about the reality that urbanization with industrialization brought about the development of civilization to humans, but also the destruction of the environment, the collapse of homes and society and the devastation of humans, I looked at ‘Respect for Life and Nature’. Park Wan-seo and Bingxin’s message in children’s literature, which embodied experiences and memories in literature and emphasized respect for nature can be read as a universal and strong daily value that this paper intends to examine.
