국문 초록

인간이 만든 재해는 인간의 능력이나 한계를 생각하지 않고서 어떤 시스템 (system)이나 제품/설비를 설계, 운용, 관리하지 않았기 때문에 생긴 재해를 말한다. 본 연구에서는 인간의 능력이나 한계를 과학적으로 고려한 인간공학적인 접근법을 통해 산업안전 보건분야에서의 효과적인 리스크 관리를 할 수 있는 제 방법들을 토의하고 아울러 이를 위한 조직에서의 성공적인 인간공학 프로그램의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Many accidents and disasters are attributed mainly by not considering human capabilities and limits (hence human factors) but simply designing, operating, and maintaining certain man-made systems and/or product/equipment. This paper suggests and discusses major scientific human factors approaches for efficient risk management in industrial safety and health areas by considering human capabilities and limits. For this purposes this study suggests a successful direction of human factors and ergonomics programs in the organization.
