영문 초록

The community-based public design project, a project for co-pro_sperity-cooperation with Gongju-si, Gongju University and the department of furniture living design, was conducted to co-cultivate local talents, pursue locally cultural values, reconsider the public interest and improve the local environment, based on the co-prosperity of the locality, local universities and companies. The project, which aims to design, develop and establish shelters suitable for the characteristics of bridges in Jemincheon, Gongju-si, was conducted by ① holding the community participatory workshops, ② developing the design for local universities’ public facilities, and ③ producing and establishing the local industry’s public facilities. We installed facilities by selecting the Jemincheon bridge at the 1st year(2021) and the second Sanseong bridge at the 2nd year (2022) as project sites.
