영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of using social robots with housing welfare services provided to solve housing problems and improve quality of life of elderly. In order to apply social robots to housing welfare services, the experience of the elderly using social robots is derived using Max van Manen's hermeneutic phenomenology research method. For data collection, interviews were conducted with 8 participants in Y-dong, S-si, who are using social robots by a smart city type urban regeneration project. As a result of the analysis, 5 essential themes and 14 explored themes were derived. The five essential themes were 'Need for education', 'Difficulty in operating', 'Digital alienation', 'Friendly social robot', and 'Low utilization'. Based on the essential discussion of experience, it was suggested to intervene in public manpower for social robot management when using social robots in residential welfare services, to provide social robots with functions for the needs of the elderly, and to clarify the target of social robots.
