모차르트 오페라 부파를 통해 본 음악극의 연속성 원리

국문 초록

본 연구는 모차르트의 오페라 부파에 나타난 음악극의 연속성 원리를 고찰하기 위함이다. 모차르트는 음악극에서 대본과 음악이 연속하여 전개 될 때 발생하는 극과 음악의 분리 상태를 극복하고자 첫째, 정식 노래를 통해 인물의 특성과 심리상태를 절묘하게 묘사함으로써 단순 음악의 차원을 넘어서서 섬세한 극의 차원을 포용하였다. 둘째, 적극적인 레치타티보 세코, 레치타티보 아캄파냐토의 사용을 통해 화려한 오케스트라 반주로 인물의 대사와 정서를 강조하여 극적 긴장감을 고조시켰다. 셋째, 아리아와 이중창의 사용으로 각 인물의 성격을 강조하고 인물 간의 갈등을 묘사함으로써 극 전개에 크게 기여하 였으며 결과적으로 음악과 연극, 노래와 대본의 충돌을 완화하였다. 마지막으로, 앙상블의 극적 사용을 통해 여러 인물의 다양한 사건들을 음악적 구성으로 한데 엮어 통일성을 유지하였으며, 노래를 매개로 한 액션 전개를 함으로써 음악과 연극의 충돌 지점을 완화하는데 기여하 였다. 모차르트가 그의 오페라에서 시도한 정식 노래, 레치타티보, 앙상블의 극적 기능은 오늘날 대표적인 음악 극인 뮤지컬 노래의 원리에 깊은 영향을 주는 단초로써, 향후 다양한 음악극의 원리를 고찰하고 적용하는 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the continuity and separation principles of music theatre and music through Mozart's opera. Mozart wanted to overcome the separation of plays and music that occurs when scripts and music that occur in musical plays are unfolded continuously. Dimensions of have been accepted. Second, the active recitative acampagnato was emphasized with colorful orchestral accompaniment, and this musical effect heightened the dramatic tension by highlighting the lines and emotions. Third, it greatly contributed to the development of the play by emphasizing the characters through arias and duets and depicting important moments and conflicts between characters in the development of the play. This in turn alleviated the clash between music and play, song and script. Finally, through the dramatic use of the ensemble, various events of various characters were woven together to maintain unity in a single musical composition, and through the development of actions through songs, it contributed to resolving the conflict between music and play. The formal songs, recitativo, and dramatic functions of the ensemble that Mozart attempted in the opera are clues that deeply affect the principle of musical songs, which are representative musical theatre today.
