학생운동선수들의 학습과정과 진로탐색에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 질적 연구 중 사례연구로 진행하였으며, 학생운동선수의 학습과정 사례와 학생운동선수의 진로탐색 사례를 바탕으로 학생운동선수들의 특성과 나아갈 방향을 연구해 보고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 대학생 중에서 대한체육회 선수등록이 되어 있는 학생운동선수를 대상으로 선정하였다. 비확률 표본 추출법 중 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 8명의 연구 참여자를 선정하였으며 그 중 5명의 사례가 본 연구에 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생운동선수들의 학습과정이 일반 학생들과 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며 특히 적극적인 학교생활, 학습과정과그 결과 등에서 일반 학생들보다 좋게 나타나는 경우가 많았다. 둘째, 학생운동선수들은 상대적으로 일반학생보다 본인만의 특기를 바탕으로 취업에 유리한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 연구 참여자 중에서 자신의 종목 외에도 미래 유망한 종목을 추가로 준비하여 공공기관에 스포츠 지도자로 취업된 사례가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 학생 운동선수들의 학습과정 사례에서 학습권을 보장받고 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 진로탐색 사례에서 학생운동선수들의 특기와 새로운 종목에 대한 도전은 전공 관련 취업에 유리할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to study the characteristics and direction of student athletes based on the learning process case of student athletes and career exploration case of student athletes. Participants in the study were selected as student athletes registered by the Korea Sports Council from among college students. Among the non-probability sampling methods, a total of five cases were used in this study using the convenience sampling method. The results are as follow. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the learning process of student athletes was not different from that of general students, and in particular, it was often better than general students in active school life and grades. Second, student athletes were found to be advantageous for employment because they had their own specialties that were difficult for ordinary students to obtain, and among the study participants, there were cases where they were employed as sports leaders by honing promising sports in the future. In conclusion, it was confirmed that athlete students were guaranteed the right to learn in the case of the learning process, and in the case of career searching, it was confirmed that athlete students specialtie and challenge to new sports could be advantageous for major-related employment.
