세대와 통일인식의 관계에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 논문은 부모세대의 통일인식이 그들의 자녀에게 어떠한 영향을주는지를 분석했다. 386세대 부모를 둔 가정을 준거집단으로 386세대이후 가정과의 비교를 통해 통일인식의 차이점과 유사점이 존재하는지를 분석했다. 연구를 위해 부산지역 대학생을 대상으로 한 여론조사 자료를 사용했다. 결과는 통일필요성에 대한 응답비율은, 전국적 여론조사와 유사하게 50%보다 낮게 나와, 젊은 층의 통일에 대한 비우호적인 인식이 여전함을 확인했다. 그러나 세부적으로 살펴보면 386세대의부모를 둔 응답자는 386이후 부모를 둔 응답자보다 8.5% 높게 통일의필요성에 공감했다. 그들 부모 간에도 통일에 대한 인식의 갭이 컸다. 이러한 결과는 상대적으로 진보적 특성을 보이는 386세대 부모를 둔20대 대학생들은, 그들의 동류집단 내에서 다른 정치사회화 영향으로통일인식에서 차이를 보이고 있다는 것을 의미한다.

영문 초록

This paper analyzes how parents' unification perception affects their children. As a reference group based on 386-generation parents, I analyzed the differences and similarities of unification perception through comparison with families after 386 generation. For the study, survey data on university students in Busan were used. The results showed that the response rate to the necessity of unification was lower than 50%, similar to the national opinion poll, indicating that the unfriendly recognition of unification among young people still remained. However, in detail, respondents with 386 generation parents shared the need for unification with 8.5% higher than respondents with parents after 386. There was also a wide gap of awareness of unification among their parents. These results indicate that university students in their twenties with relatively progressive 386-generation parents differ in their perceptions of unification due to different political socialization effects.
