국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 장애인을 고용한 사회적기업의 실태를 살펴보고 고용상황을 분석해 봄으로써 사회적기업의 중증장애인 고용 확대에 대한 가능성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 사회적기업 육성법에 의거하여 사회적기업으로 인가받은 1,578개 기업을 대상으로 장애인을 고용한 사회적기업의 실태, 고용상황, 장애인 고용 확대 가능성을 기술통계, t-test분석, 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 분석을 통한 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인을 고용한 사회적기업은 16.6%로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적기업의 고용 대상인 취약계층에서 장애인 근로자는 주요한 근로자인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적기업 중 순수 사회적기업이 직업재활시설과 표준사업장을 병행하는 사회적기업 보다 장애인 근로자에게 통합적인 환경이며 장애인 고용 확대 가능성도 큰 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 장애인 근로자를 고용하는 것이 사회적기업의 재무측면에서 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 사회적기업의 중증장애인 고용 확대를 위한 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the possibilities of expanding the employment of people with severe disabilities in social enterprises based on the actual situation of employing people with disabilities and the employment situation analysis. Method: This study was conducted on 1,578 companies authorized by Social Enterprise Promotion Act. Descriptive statistics, t-test analysis, and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the actual situation, the employment situation and possibilities of increasing employment opportunities for the people with disabilities in social enterprises. Results: The results of these analyses were as follows. First, 16.6% of the social enterprises hired people with disabilities. Second, people with disabilities were main workers of vulnerable groups of employment target of social enterprise. Third, among many kinds of social enterprises, the pure enterprise offered some integrative atmosphere more to workers with disabilities and had bigger possibilities to hire them than other enterprises in both of vocational rehabilitation facilities and standard workplace. Fourth, it appears to be advantageous to hire people with disabilities for the finance of social enterprise. Conclusion: Based on the results, implications and suggestions were provided.
