영문 초록

The study is to estimate economic impacts of flatfish farming indusry on the regional economy in jeju, which include input-output analysis, output creation effect analysis, labor creation effect analysis, income creation effect analysis. This study can assess these direct and indirect effects of flatfish farming indusry by using an input-output model. The empirical results of the study can be summarized as follows: (1)Flatfish farming industry increases regional outputs by 82.5 billion Won. increses by 72,736 people, and increases total income of the region by 40.2 billion Won. (2)Economic impacts are mostly concentrated in several manufacturing industries and service related industries.
