영문 초록

The objective of this study is to verify the effects of pre-parent education program on the empathy, self-acceptance, and self-efficacy of adolescents with terminated protection of residential care facilities. As research subjects, total 30 adolescents with terminated protection, residing in residential care facilities in Cheonan-si were wirelessly selected and divided into experimental group and control group for this experimental study. The selection standard of research subjects was first, the adolescents in 17-19(experimental group: n=16, control group: n=14) residing in residential care facilities and also having the termination of protection ahead. Second, as research subjects, this study selected the similar residential care facilities for more than 50 adolescents that would obey the rules of Korea National Association of Child Welfare as the direction of operation. In the research method, this study carried out total eight sessions of pre-parent education program using filial play therapy two times a week, in order to verify the effects of it on the empathy, self-acceptance, and self-efficacy of adolescents in residential care facilities. The collected data in the results of experimenting the non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was analyzed through t-test, MANCOVA with covariance, and MANCOVA. In the results of this study, the pre-parent education program using filial play therapy increased the empathy, self-acceptance, and self-efficacy of adolescents with terminated protection of residential care facilities, and also had effects on the increase of positive interactions with other children residing together in residential care facilities.
