국문 초록

이 연구는 강해설교자 마틴 로이드 존스(Martyn Lloyd-Jones)와 정근두가 같은 본문을 근거로 불신자와 신자에게 행한 설교를 로이드 존스가 제안한 강해설교의 요소에 따라 분석하므로, 설교자가 특정 청중을 고려하는 것이 실제설교의 내용과 방법에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 확인하고자 한다. 로이드 존스의“현대인의 상황”에서 주된 청중은 불신자이다. 그러므로 무관심한 청중의 관심을 얻기 위해 서론에 많은 분량이 할애되었다. 중심 주제는 불신자에게 적절한 주제인 회개로 연결되었다. 본문 자체에 대한 설명보다는 본문에서 끌어낸 대지를 논리적으로 설명하는 데 초점이 있었고, 상식에 근거한 예증이 다수 사용되었다. 적용은 불신자를 전도하는 것에 집중되었다. 그러나 정근두의“허탄한 자랑을 하지 말라!”는 신자에게 한 설교이다. 그러므로 이 설교의 서론은 짧다. 중심 주제는 신자에게 적절하게 하나님을 신뢰하는 삶과 연결되었다. 본문 자체를 설명하는 것에 초점을 두었으며, 성경 구절에 근거한 예증이 자주 등장했다. 적용은 신자의 다양한 삶의 정황과 관련되었다. 이 연구를 통해 설교자가 상정하는 청중의 차이가 설교에서 다양한 차이를 생산한다는 것을 분명히 확인할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Keun Doo Jung’s sermons based on a same biblical passage according to the components of expository preaching Lloyd-Jones proposes, in order to determine how a specific audience a preacher considers affects the content and method of preaching. “The Condition of Modern Man” by Lloyd-Jones is directed at unbelievers. The introduction of the sermon is enough long to grab the attention of the indifferent audience. The main theme of the sermon is related to repentance appropriate for unbelievers. Demonstrating sermon points derived from the biblical passage is focused and illustrations grounded on common sense are frequently used. Applications focus on evangelizing the unbeliever audience. However, the main audience of “Don’t Boast and Brag!” by Keun Doo Jung is believers. Therefore, the short introduction is enough. The sermon’s theme is involved in trusting God in life for believers. The emphasis of the sermon is on explaining the biblical passage and quotations from the Bible are repeatedly utilized to illustrate the sermon points. Applications are given to various context of the believer’s life. This study confirms that differences of a target audience a preacher considers make various differences in sermon.
