동요를 활용한 통합적 유아음악교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 동요를 활용한 통합적 유아음악교육 프로그램을 개발하고 유아에게 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적에 따라 문헌연구, 요구 조사, 프로그램 시안 구성 및 검토 단계를 거쳐 프로그램의 목적 및 목표, 교육내용, 교수-학습 방법, 평가로 구성된 유아음악교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 2016년 8월 29일부터 12월 9일까지 15주 동안 주 2회씩 총 29회에 걸쳐 W시 E유치원의 만 4세 두 개 반의 유아 54명(실험집단 27명, 비교집단 27명)을 대상으로 프로그램을 실시하였다. 개발한 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 안재신, 한애향(1999)의 음악적 태도, Gordon(2004)의 PMMA, 이병래(1997)의 정서지능 검사 도구를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였고 독립표본 t검증으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 동요를 활용한 통합적 유아음악교육 프로그램이 유아의 음악적 태도, 음악 적성, 정서지능을 증진하는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해, 유아교육 현장에서 동요 지도의 교수-학습 방법으로 적용될 수 있음을 확인함으로써 유아교사들이 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 동요를 활용한 통합적 유아음악교육 지도방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated early childhood music education program using children’s song and to examine the effectiveness of this program for young children. According to the purpose of this study, we developed an integrated early childhood music education program consisting of the purpose and objectives of the program, educational contents, teaching-learning methods, and evaluation through literature review, analyzing the needs in early childhood education field, program drafting and review process. The participants were 54 children(the experimental group: 27 children, the comparison group 27 children) in two classes, aged 4 years at E kindergarten located in W province. Children in the experimental group took part in integrated early childhood music education and activities using children’s song over a total of 29 sessions for 15 weeks from August 29 to December 9, 2016. Children in the comparison group took music classes with a focus on the educational activities in the Nuri Curriculum’s everyday theme, led by the classroom teacher. To verify the effects of the developed program, the tools for measuring musical attitude in children developed by Ahn and Han (1999), and PMMA, a tool to measure musical aptitude in children developed by Gordon(2004), as well as the tool for measuring emotional intelligence developed by Lee (1997) were used. SPSS 21.0 for Windows was used to analyze the data by group. An independent sample t-test was conducted on the mean of pre and post-scores of each group. The results showed that an integrated early childhood music education program using children’s song was effective in improving young children s musical attitude, musical aptitude, and emotional intelligence. Through the results of the study, we confirmed that it can be applied as a teaching-learning method of children’s song in early childhood education, and proposed an integrated early childhood music education teaching plan using children’s song for easy use by early childhood teachers.
