국문 초록

본 연구는 초심 수퍼바이저들이 수퍼비전에서 경험하는 역전이에 어떻게 대처하고 있는지 알아보기 위하여 시행되었다. 이를 위하여 수퍼비전 경력 5년 이하인 초심 수퍼바이저 7명을 의도 표집하여 심층면담을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구하는 현상을 기술하는 것을 강조하는 Giorgi의 현상학적 방법으로 시행하였고, 질적 연구의 한계인 신뢰도와 타당도를 확보하기 위하여 적용성과 일관성, 사실적 가치와 중립성의 단계를 거쳤다. 그 결과 초심 수퍼바이저들이 수퍼비전에서 역전이에 대처하는 방법은 자기개방 하기, 객관화 시키기, 자기인식과 수용하기, 자문 구하기, 자기 돌보기 등 5가지 범주로 나타났다. 초심 수퍼바이저들이 수퍼비전에서 경험하는 역전이와 그에 따른 대처를 하는 것은 수퍼바이저로서의 성장을 뜻하며, 수퍼바이지와의 관계 향상과 수퍼비전에서 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의미를 둘 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to understand how novice supervisors would cope with the countertransference experienced in their supervision. For this, the in-depth interview was conducted by purposively sampling seven novice supervisors with supervision experiences for five years or less. The Giorgi’s phenomenological method emphasizing the description of phenomenon was applied to the collected data. To secure the limitations of qualitative researches such as reliability and validity, the stages of applicability, consistency, realistic value, and neutrality were gone through. In the results, the novice supervisors’ methods to cope with the countertransference in their supervision were divided into five categories such as opening themselves, objectifying, self-awareness and accepting it, asking for advices, and self-care. The novice supervisors’ coping with the countertransference experienced in their supervision would mean the growth as a supervisor. The results of this study could be used for the supervision and the improvement of relationship with supervisor, which is the significance of this study.
