국문 초록

본 연구는 교통사고 가해자의 외상 경험에 대한 자문화기술지 연구이다. 자문화기술지 연구방법을 통하여 가해자로서의 경험과 외상, 그 이후 성공적으로 외상을 회복하고 성장하는 과정에 대한 경험을 인지, 정서, 지지관계 안에서 살펴보았다. 연구결과는 교통사고 발생, 외상 경험, 외상 회복 과정으로 도출되었다. 연구결과에 근거하여 한 개인이 교통사고를 경험하며 가해자가 되어 겪는 현실적 고통과 심리 내적으로 자신의 외상을 어떻게 받아들이고 수용하며, 나아가 어떻게 외상을 회복하고 외상 후에 성장할 수 있었는지 알아보았다. 더불어 교통사고 외상을 경험하고 회복하는 과정에서 어떤 요소들이 회복과 성장에 도움을 주고 이러한 것들이 사회문화적 맥락에서 어떤 가치와 의미를 지닐 수 있는지 이해하고자 하였다. 또한 외상 회복 과정과 외상후 성장의 경험을 통하여 주관적 내면세계에 대하여 심리학적, 상담적 통찰을 제공하였으며, 이는 나아가 심리 치료적 상담 프로그램에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

This study is an autoethnography study over traumatic experiences of car accident assaulters. Through the research method, of autoethnography the researchers recognized the experiences of the perpetrator and their trauma, and the experiences of successfully growing further with recovery from the trauma. The results of the study were derived in the category of traffic accidents, trauma experiences, and trauma recovery processes. Based on the results of the study, the researchers found how an individual experience traffic accident and how they embrace and accept the real pain and the trauma psychologically and what the factors are to help them grow further in the process of experiencing and recovering from the trauma. In addition, it offered psychological and counseling insights on subjective inner-self and this is expected to be applicable to psychotherapy counselling programs. insights, which are thought to be applicable to psychological therapy counseling programs.
