예수의 하느님나라 선포를 통해 본 평등의 비전

국문 초록

우리가 예수의 하느님나라 말씀들을 연구하고자 할 때 하느님나라의 시간적인 차원―미래적이냐 현재적이냐 하는―보다는 그 말씀들이 표현하는 구체적인 내용에 주목하면 우리는 예수의 하느님나라 말씀들이 영적인, 종교적인 지평 보다는 자주 사회적인, 물질적인, 사회경제적인 현실에 관여하고 있음을 인식하게 된다. 본 논문은 이러한 사회적인, 물질적인, 사회경제적인 현실에 관여하는 하느님나라 선포가 예수의 평등의 비전에 의해 관통되고 있음을 보여주고자 했다. 첫째로 두드러지는 것은 사회적 평등의 비전인바, 하느님의 나라는 모든 사람이 인간적 존엄성을 부여받는 사회적 평등의 실현이 이루어지는 상태를 뜻한다. 이는 가장 작은 자가 가장 큰 인물인 세례자 요한보다 하느님의 나라에서는 더 큼을 선언하는 마 11:7-11/눅 7:24-28. 세리와 창기들이 명망 있는 상류층의 인사들보다 먼저 하느님의 나라에 들어감을 선언하는 마 21:31c, 하느님의 나라가 어린아이와 같은 사람들의 것임을 선언하는 막 10:13-16 평행에서 드러난다. 둘째로 두드러지는 것은 경제적, 정치적 평등의 비전인바, 하느님의 나라는 모든 사람에게 생존권과 권력에의 참여가 보장되는 경제적, 정치적 평등의 실현이 이루어지는 상태를 의미한다. 이는 하느님의 나라가 가난한 사람들의 것임을 선언하는 눅 6:20-21 Q, 부자가 하느님의 나라에 들어가는 것은 불가능함을 선언하는 막 10:25 평행, 늦게 온 일꾼들에게 동일한 임금을 나눠주는 포도원주인의 처사를 묘사하는 선한 포도원 주인의 비유(마 20:1-15)에서 드러난다.

영문 초록

When we pay attention to the words of Jesus regarding the kingdom of God, especially to the concrete contents of the words rather than to the question of time of the kingdom of God ― whether it is future or present ―, we come to recognize that the words of Jesus concerning the kingdom of God are involved more often with the social, material, and socio-economic reality than with the spiritual and religious horizons. This thesis attempts to show that Jesus' proclamation of the kingdom of God engaged in the social, material, and socio-economic reality is closely connected with Jesus' vision of equality. The first prominent aspect in such words of the kingdom of God is the vision of social equality: the kingdom of God signifies the conditions where social equality endows all people with human dignity. This becomes evident in the following texts: Mt 11:7-11/Lk 7:24-28, which declares that the least is in the kingdom of God greater than John the Baptist, the greatest man in the world; Mt 21:31c, which proclaims that the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God ahead of the high class members in society; and Mk 10:13-16 Parr., which announces that the kingdom of God belongs to the people like children. The second prominent aspect is the vision of economic and political equality: the kingdom of God signifies the conditions where the realization of economic and political equality secures the right to live and guarantees the participation in power for all people. This becomes evident in the following texts: Lk 6:20-21 Q, which declares that the kingdom of God belongs to the poor; Mk 10:25 Parr., which asserts that the rich are unable to enter into the kingdom of God; Mt 20:1-15, which describes the management of the good vineyard lord who pays the same wages to the workers who come late.
