영문 초록

Many regional support programs for the areas near by nuclear power plant have been implemented for long time by complying with the purpose of the law. The purpose of this study is to quantify the economic effects of the programs undertaken by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. (KHNP) by using Input-Output Analysis and then forecast the changes of Gyeongju local society because of the regional support programs by using urban dynamics model. The result shows that Gyeonaju local society would have growing changes by 2067. The essential change-causing factors are as follows. The case of population is estimated that it starts going up continuously after 2018 because of KHNP relocation to Gyeongju and increases from the level of about 290 thousand as minimum to 330 thousand as maximum in 2067. The estimates of other cases are made that the number of Industries has about 6 thousand increases, gross local product has almost 4 trillion increases, official land price triples increases, and also made that employment condition also improves continuously. Based on the analysis results, we suggest the following strategic directions for regional economic development.
