국문 초록

본 연구는 Schwab의 the practical 관련 국내 연구 논문 10편을 리뷰하여, Schwab의 the practical에 대한 국내 연구 논문들이 갖고 있는 경향성과 오해의 소지가 있는 점들을 밝혔다. 연구결과, 첫째, 국내 Schwab 연구의 경향을 두 가지, 하 나는 Schwab의 the practical을 리뷰하여 의의, 시사점을 찾는 소개형과 한계 및 비판점을 고찰하고 대안을 제시하거나, 확산적 논의를 한 연구형으로 구분하였다. 둘째, 국내 Schwab 연구 논문을 통해서 Schwab의 the practical을 접하는 독자들에게 이를 잘못 알도록 할 여지가 있는 점을 두 가지 찾았다. 독자들은 첫째, the practical을 이론과 대비적으로 잘못 알게 될 가능성, 둘째, 절충, 숙의 등의 개념에 대한 Schwab의 설명에 부족하고 모호하다고 여길 가능성이 있었다.

영문 초록

This study reviewed studies done in South Korea regarding Schwab’s the practical, explored common misunderstandings made by readers, and then explained what are the misunderstandings based on Schwab’s papers (1969, 1971, 1973, 1983). The subjects of this were dominant 10 papers of Schwab. The results was two following. First, tendencies of dominant studies about Schwab were a introductory which reviewed the practical of Schwab and then suggested his purpose or meanings, or research which explored from critical point of view and then suggested third ways to improve the problems or discussed with extended views. Second, this paper found two most possibile misunderstandings that were made by readers who encountered Schwab’s the practical from dominant studies about Schwab. One is that the practical is contrasting with the theory, and the other is that there are not enough explanations or given accounts are too obscure to fully understand the key concepts such as eclectic of art or deliberation.
