영문 초록

Selecting the Chinese poems on Mt. Keumgang composed by Korean ancestral poets according to different periods, this paper examined the emotional responses. In the poetry of mid-Koryo dynasty, Kim Keug-gi and Yi Kyu-bo, a yearning for utopia appeared through self-reflection and devotion to nature. In the poetry of late Koryo dynasty, Yi Je-hyun and Cho Woon-hul, an insight into life and sympathy to nature emerged. In the early Chosun dynasty, Kwon Geun, Kang Hei-maeng, and Kim Jong-jik expressed the will of harmony and unity along with renovative spirits in their poetry. Under the ruling of Sun-jo, the poetry culture blossomed and the poems on Mt. Keumgang entered a new phase. The poets such as Huh Kyun, Kim Yuk and Jang Yu voiced the emotions of people and the state of no desire. In the late Chosun dynasty, the atmosphere of the society changed as the reflections on the wars with Japan and China surfaced. Thus, the literature of that period focused on realism and people’s life revealing the characteristics and traits of practical science. In the end of Chosun dynasty and during the age of Japanese invasion, patriotism and resistance along with the recognition of home of gods arose.
