‘샛서방[소대남편]’ 등장 사설시조의 문학사적 의의에 대한 시론적 고찰

국문 초록

기존 논의에서는 <어이려뇨~>를 다음과 같이 이해하였다. 첫째, 이 노래의 주된 내용은 중세 질서에 대한 반항 의식에 있다. 둘째, 중세 질서에 대한 반항 의식을 표출하기 위해 현실에서 일어날 수 없는 가상 세계를 시적 배경으로 하였다. 기존 논의에 대한 반성적 검토에서 본고는 비롯되었다. 조선후기 정조 때 살인사건 관련 기록인 『심리록』을 주된 연구 대상으로 삼았다. 그 결과 <어이려뇨~>를 비롯한 ‘샛서방’ 등장 사설시조는 현실에 기반을 둔 일상적 삶을 풀어낸 노래이고, 일상적 인간의 모습·욕망·갈등 등을 있는 그대로 표현하였다는 점에서 문학사적 의의가 있음을 밝혔다. 가부장적 질서가 엄격했던 조선후기였기에, ‘샛서방’이 표면으로 드러나기는 어려웠을 것으로 짐작된다. 『심리록』를 통해 ‘샛서방’의 위상을 명확히 밝히는 데에는 한계가 있었던 이유이다. 본고가 지닌 문제점이기도 하다. 이를 보완하기 위해 후속 논의를 준비 중이다.

영문 초록

In the existing discussion, I understood the following to . First, the main content of this song is in the rebellion against the medieval order. Second, in order to express the rebellion against the medieval order, the virtual world which can not be realized in reality was taken as a poetic background. This study is based on a reflection review of existing discussions. During the late Chosun dynasty, the main subject of the study was 『SimRiRok(審理錄)』, which is related to the murder case. The results are as follows. and other SaseolSiJo(辭說時調) appeared in the SaesSeoBang(샛서방) is a song of everyday life based on reality. We express everyday human form, desire, and conflict as they are. From these two points, I have found that there is literary historical significance. Since patriarchal order was strict in the late Joseon period, it is presumed that it was difficult to expose the SaesSeoBang to the surface. It is the reason why there was a limit to clarify the status of SaesSeoBang through 『SimRiRok』. It is also a problem of this paper. We are preparing a follow-up discussion to supplement this.
