영문 초록

The aim of this study is to make clear an idea of the world in the traditional folk beliefs of Hungary. The methodology of this study is not based on the way of field survey but take the way of the re-organizing and analyzing of the literature on this subject which is written by Hungarian specialist. The limit of my study is to show the whole frame and outline of 'the understanding of the world and universe in the Hungarian traditional folk beliefs'. At first I try to lighten the Hungarian traditional folk beliefs in the course of the development of the Hungarian history. In this part, I try to make clear the aspect of transformation of the ancient beliefs which is based on the Shamanism through adoption of the Christianity, the Reformation and the anti Reformation. In next chapter, For bringing forth of the idea of the world and the cosmos, I studied the understanding of the human body and soul, life and death, this world and the other world, the sky and the earth, the sun, the moon, the stars, the animals and the plants as an essential elements of the world and the universe. As a result, I am reached the conclusion that the knowledge of the understanding of the world and the universe is not consist of unified frame and shape. Farther, Hungarian specialist may considers also that it is impossible to prove the original shape of their ancient beliefs in the turbulence of the Hungarian historical events. Because they are taking new shape continuously, when they had met the various religion and new culture. Through this approach, I tried to help to understand easily about the Hungarian custom, folklore, legend, folk tale. The Hungarian idea of the world and the wake of the traditional custom which is based on the ancient shamanism is not give the unfamiliar sentiments to Korean. On the contrary, it will help to understand the Hungarian popular consciousness and national culture through the right way.
