廣開土王碑文을 통한 『日本書紀』 神功, 應神紀의 분석

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate relationships between Baekje (百濟) and Japan (倭) in the ancient 4～5th century by a study on Jinku-ki (神功紀) and Oojin-ki (應神紀) in Ilbonseogi (日本書紀) based on Inscription of King Kwanggaeto (廣開土王碑文). First of all, as we analyzed occurrences during 396～407 A.D. described on Inscription of King Kwanggaeto (廣開土王碑文), we could understand that Japan dispatched an army to Baekje (百濟) during the war between Baekje (百濟) and Koguryo (高句麗) in the Korean peninsula instead of Japan’s leading role under those circumstances of the battles. Also, we could find out that the Seven-Branched Sword (Chiljido, 七枝刀), which Baekje (百濟) presented to a superior Japan (倭) in 372 A.D. written in Jinku-ki (神功紀) of Ilbonseogi (日本書紀), had made in Baekje (百濟) during the war between Baekje (百濟) and Koguryo (高句麗) in the Korean peninsula in 408 A.D. and was granted to Japanese King (倭王) when we studied Chinese characters carved on the Seven-Branched Sword (Chiljido, 七支刀). Especially, authors of Ilbonseogi (日本書紀) didn’t describe properly the truth that Japan dispatched an army to Baekje (百濟) in Oojin-ki (應神紀) of Ilbonseogi (日本書紀), which was written contemporaneously with Inscription of King Kwanggaeto (廣開土王碑文), and fabricated as the conquest of the southern Korean peninsula by Japan (三韓征伐) in Jinku-ki (神功紀) of Ilbonseogi (日本書紀). Therefore, compared Jinku-ki (神功紀) and Oojin-ki (應神紀) in Ilbonseogi (日本書紀) with the Inscription of King Kwanggaeto (廣開土王碑文), we could understand that Japan’s military aid to Baekje (百濟) in the ancient 4～5th century was distorted to the conquest of the southern Korean peninsula (三韓征伐) by Japan and that the distortion was a matrix of the argument that the southern Korean peninsula was ruled by Yamato government written in Ilbonseogi (日本書紀).
