영문 초록

  The aim of this study was to understand the education progrem of beauty academy and problems of National Hairdressing Technical Qualifying Test(NHTQT) and to suggest improvement ways of it.
  The survey was made on 328 students studying at license preparatory classes in beauty academy in Seoul.
  1. Dissatisfaction rate was higher than the satisfaction rate on education program.
  2. The theory education of most of the preparatory courses for national hairdressing ability qualification examination was based on textbook and solving exercises.
  3. Subjects of the qualifying test that need change were; 53.6% answered "finger wave & pin curl" which showed the highest percentage. Subjects that need to be added were "hygiene practice", "practical cut", "up style", "shampooing & hair treatment" in the order of high percentage of the answer.
  4. On the question, can the preparatory education for the license be applied immediately on executing the job, the rate was high on the answer "can not be applied". 81.0% answered the reason was that the education is based solely on acquiring the license.
