영문 초록

  Hwang bong-ryong"s play is included in the genre of melodrama. But there are many differences in the typical melodrama"s composition. There are critical senses of the reality and artistic answer in his plays. Hwang bong-ryong"s play treat the social problem, social stratum trouble and try to find a solution with the view of city-country"s people. Hwang bong-ryong"s play also show us new outlook on marriage, under the influence of changing traditional gender idea. Structurally, the words in the Hwang bong-ryong"s play, are very colorful to attract audience"s attention. On this account, Hwang bong-ryong"s play have it both ways, popularity and thesense of the times. Specially, the good point of his play is not boring to show social problem. To conclude, Hwang bong-ryong"s play develop the play that have critical senses of the reality.
