영문 초록

  In Korea, women"s labor force have been under-used, and it is more severe for women with tertiary-level education, compared to other OECD countries. Facing an aged society, use of female labor force in Korea becomes one of the nation"s urgent needs to compensate for the expected lack of labor supply in near future.
  Danish women have been remarkably active and been treated relatively equally in the labor market, therefore their pay levels and employment rates are all higher compared to Korea. This study focuses on Danish policies and their mix including anti-poverty measures, public child-care, taxation for dual earner families, labor union"s roles against discrimination, paid parental leaves, and finally active labor market policies.
  Based on the equally available and highly affordable public child-care services, and full engagement to support two full-time earners in a household, Denmark is standing out as an accomplisher of typical dual-earner model without pay penalty and disparities in social security benefits. Flexible use of paid leave or flexible work options have been rather undeveloped compared to other Nordic countries. Simultaneous pursuit of labor market flexibility and security in Denmark is guaranteeing workers" high mobility and is inducing low costs of hiring workers thereby making it possible to get satisfaction from employees in general, and to have non-discriminatory treatment for female workers from employers.
