국문 초록

본고는 ‘보이다’ 구문이 단순한 피동 변형이 아닌, 형식과 의미가 결합된 독립된 구문으로 관습화되었음을 전제로, 구문문법 틀을 통해 그 의미 분화와 구조 확장 양상을 분석한다. [NP₁이 보이다] 형식의 ‘보이다’ 구문은 감각적 지각을 나타내는 지각 구문과 인지적 평가를 표현하는 판단 구문으로 나뉜다. 판단 구문은 인지 주체의 판단 방식에 따라 비교형·상태형·객관형으로 세분되며, 이는 평가 내용의 실현 방식과 담화 기능에 따라 구분된다. 이러한 구문군은 상속·은유·다의성 연결을 통해 구성되며, 구문 네트워크로 설명된다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the Korean 'boida' construction not as a passive of ‘boda, ’ but as an independent form-meaning pairing. Within Construction Grammar, its semantic diversification from perceptual to judgment (comparative, stative, objective) subtypes is explored. This is explained by Goldberg's inheritance model: perceptual use is an instance link, while judgment uses are metaphorical extensions based on “Seeing is Knowing, ” with further differentiation as polysemy. This reveals ‘boida’ as a cognitively motivated constructional network, moving beyond traditional passive interpretations.
