This study investigated the effects of different types of feedback on college English classes . For the study, 144 students participated in each group: (1) teacher feedback group, (2) self-feedback group, (3) peer feedback group, (4) computer feedback group. Results proved that students preferred teacher feedback over any other feedback. It was also revealed that students did not rely on their self-review and peer feedback. However, when students practice giving feedback and applying grammar knowledge to construct sentences, they develop better skills in both self-feedback and peer feedback. Also, traditional grammar-translation method will be, in part, helpful to bring positive outcomes in the class.
