국문 초록

본 연구는 우울로 선택적 함묵 증상을 보이는 12세 여아에게 실시한 모래놀이치료 단일 사례 연구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 모래놀이치료가 아동의 우울과 함묵 증상에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구 과정은 면담 및 심리검사를 토대로 총 20회기가 10개월간 진행되었다. 그중 12개의 모래놀이치료 작품이 제작되었다. 이를 슈퍼바이저 3인의 지도하에 모래 작품의 변화와 테마를 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과 아동의 우울과 선택적 함묵 증상이 감소하면서 학교 현장에 적응하는 모습을 통해 모래놀이치료의 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study is a single case study of sandplay therapy conducted with a 12-year-old girl exhibiting selective mutism symptoms resulting from depression. The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of sandplay therapy on the child's depressive symptoms and selective mutism. The therapeutic process consisted of 20 sessions over a 10-month period, based on interviews and psychological assessments. Among these, 12 sandplay therapy sessions produced sandtray works, which were analyzed under the supervision of three supervisors to examine changes and themes in the sand scenes. The results demonstrated a decrease in the child’s depressive symptoms and selective mutism, along with improved adaptation to the school environment. These findings suggest that sandplay therapy can be an effective intervention for children exhibiting symptoms of selective mutism associated with depression.
