국문 초록

본 연구는 여성 임금근로자의 고용형태에 따라 주관적 건강수준에 차이가 있는지를 검토하고, 고용형태에 따른 건강 영향 요인의 차이를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2022년에 실시된 한국여성정책연구원의 여성가족패널조사 9차 자료를 활용하였으며, 분석 대상은 정규직 1,666명과 비정규직 1,613명을 포함한 총 3,279명이다. 자료 분석은 교차분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 이루어졌으며, 전체 임금근로자를 대상으로 한 분석 후 고용형태별 하위집단 분석을 실시하여 결과를 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 비정규직 여성 근로자는 정규직에 비해 주관적 건강수준이 낮고 우울감 비율이 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 문제음주는 비정규직 근로자의 주관적 건강에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 확인되었다. 또한 고용형태에 따라 학력과 혼인상태에서도 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구는 여성 근로자의 고용형태가 주관적 건강수준에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 점을 실증적으로 확인하였으며, 근로자의 건강을 개인의 책임으로만 간주하는 기존 인식에서 나아가, 고용조건이 건강의 사회적 결정요인임을 고려한 정책적 대응의 필요성을 제언한다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to investigate whether there are differences in the subjective health levels of Korean female wage workers by employment type, and furthermore, to identify differences in influencing factors. To achieve this, data from the 9th round of Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families by the Korea Women’s Development Institute in 2022 was utilized, with a total of 3,279 participants, including 1,666 regular employees and 1,613 non-regular employees. The data were analysed by chi-square and logistic regression. All employee groups were analysed and then further analysed by employment type to compare the results. Subjective health and rates of depression were lower among non-regular employees than among regular employees. Problem drinking was a factor affecting subjective health among non-regular workers. There were differences in education and marital status by employment type. This study empirically verified that there is a significant difference in the subjective health level of female employees by employment type. Although there is still a perception that workers' health problems are the responsibility of the individual, there is a need for policy support to help female wage earners because employment conditions are one of the social determinants of health and lead to differences in health levels.
