학습부진 및 학습장애 학생 대상 수학중재효과 메타분석: 학습 및 정서를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 수학 학습부진 및 학습장애 학생들을 대상으로 수학중재의 효과를 메타분석하여 학업 성취와 정서적 측면에서 효과성을 확인하고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 총 19개의 연구를 선정하여 수학 성취, 정서적 태도, 중재 환경의 특성을 반영하여 효과크기를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 전체 효과크기는 0.986로 통계적으로 유의미하게 큰 값을 보였으며, 학업 성취 및 정서적 측면에서 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 특히 고등학생과 초등학교 고학년 집단에서 높은 효과크기를 보였고, 중재 방법으로는 읽기 중재, 또래 중재, 인지 중재 순으로 높은 효과를 나타냈다. 그러나 종속변인, 정서변인 및 중재 환경의 하위집단에 따른 효과크기는 유의미하게 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 학습부진 학생들에게 효과적인 수학 중재 프로그램 개발과 적용이 필요하며, 정서적 지원의 중요성을 시사점에서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to confirm the effectiveness of mathematical intervention in academic achievement and emotional aspects by meta-analysis of the effects of mathematics intervention in students with learning difficulties and learning disabilities. Therefore, this study selected a total of 19 studies to analyze the effect size by reflecting the characteristics of mathematical achievement, emotional attitude, and intervention environment. As a result of the analysis, the overall effect size was 0.986, which was statistically significantly large, and had a positive effect on academic achievement and emotional aspects. In particular, the high school students and the upper grades of elementary school showed a high effect size, and the intervention methods showed the highest effect in the order of reading intervention, peer intervention, and cognitive intervention. However, the effect size of each dependent variable, emotional variable, and intervention environment did not appear significantly. Based on these results, this study needs to develop and apply an effective mathematical intervention program for learning difficulties, and the importance of emotional support was discussed in implications.
