국문 초록

This study aimed to examine the effects of the Food Art Therapy(FAT) program on enhancing self-efficacy and empathy in children with ADHD. The study participants included 18 fourth-grade children diagnosed with ADHD (9 in the experimental group and 9 in the control group). The FAT program was conducted once a week (90 minutes per session) for a total of 12 sessions from April 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022, with the experimental group. The research tools used were the Self-Efficacy Scale and the Empathy Scale. A repeated measures two-way ANOVA was performed on differences by time and group. The results of this study are as follows: First, the FAT program had a positive effect on improving self-efficacy in children with ADHD, and the effect was sustained. Second, the FAT program had a positive effect on improving empathy in children with ADHD, and this effect was also sustained. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the FAT program is effective in enhancing self-efficacy and empathy in children with ADHD.
