국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 전래동화를 이해하기 위한 하나의 방법론적 관점으로서 해석학의 가치를 논한 것이다. 한국 전래동화가 지니는 다양한 목소리와 의미를 비롯한 역사성을 이해하기 위해 해석학은 다음과 같은 측면에서 조망될 필요가 있다. 첫째, 전래동화에서의 텍스트성, 둘째, 전래동화에서의 이해의 문제, 셋째, 전래동화에서의 해석학적 순환과 지평융합, 넷째, 전래동화 해석의 타당성 문제, 다섯째, 연구자의 개방적 자세 등이다. 이러한 해석학적 이해를 통해 한국 전래동화의 이해는 물론, 다양한 문학작품, 더 나아가 우리나라 전통 유아교육 사상과 문화 등을 바르게 이해하고 유아교육 현장에 적용하는 하나의 방법론적 가치 철학으로 자리매김할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study discusses the methodological suggestion of hermeneutics for the understanding the meaning of the Korean folk stories. The new paradigm for understanding the Korean folk stories based on the major views of the modern hermeneutics is as follows: First, the Korean folk stories as text. Second, the characteristics of understanding. Third, the hermeneutic circle and horizon. Fourth, the validity matter of hermeneutics. Fifth, the researcher's attitude, openness and subjectivity The procedure of understanding on the Korean folk stories from this point of view is as follows: First, analyze the meaning structure according to the Korean folk stories to understand. Second, categorize the analyzed meaning structures according to the conceptual analogy and the logical possibility to integrate. Third, in order to deepen the understanding on the categorized contents, ask and review the categorized contents of the text met at the researcher's current horizon in the contemporary, social and ethical context and construct the more deepened and extended horizon of the meaning by the consistent conversation. Fourth, search for the intersection point related to the clear meaning at the deepened and extended horizon of the meaning, translate it into a theme, and consistently inspect whether the objective meaning structure of the text is distorted, deformed or really be conformed. Each step is not finished by the only one work, but the theme is selected or the meaning is modified by the repeated trials, and the even richer and more deepened meaning which the researcher may miss should be compensated by requesting the professionals for advice if necessary. Finally, logically categorize the contents revealed from the previous steps and construct them into the unified one. It includes the procedure for dialectically fusing with various theoretical data. This activity extends the researcher's horizon on various meanings revealed from the Korean folk stories, by which will improve the validity of the study and win the reader's sympathy.
