경기도 직업계고 산학겸임교사 제도 운영 개선 방안 탐색을 위한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 직업계고에서의 산학겸임교사 제도 운영 필요성과 제도 운영 실제에 대한 고찰을 통해 제도 운영 개선 방안을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 직업계고 산학겸임교사(7명), 산학겸임교사 업무 담당 부장(7명) 총 14명(특성화고 8개교, 마이스터고 2개교)을 대상으로 집단 면담을 수행하고, 이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 산학겸임교사 제도는 특정 분야의 교과목을 담당할 교사, 산업 수요를 반영한 실무 교육, 학생에게 취업 정보 제공의 측면에서 필요하였고, 이는 산학겸임교사의 역할이기도 했다. 둘째, 산학겸임교사 제도 운영의 핵심은 수업이며, 산학겸임교사의 수업 운영은 정규 교사와의 팀티칭으로 진행되고, 이는 긍정적으로 인식되었다. 셋째, 산학겸임교사 제도 운영은 채용, 보수와 관련된 어려움이 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 안정적인 산학 겸임교사 제도 운영 방안, 팀티칭을 통해 전수된 교사 전문성의 교내 확산 체계 마련, 보수 기준 개선 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This research aims to propose policy measures for improving operation of the industrial-educational adjunct teacher system in vocational high schools by examining the reasons and its actual operation. The research was conducted through group interviews with a total of 14 participants, including industrial-educational adjunct teachers(7) and department heads in charge of industrial-educational adjunct teachers(7) in vocational high schools in Gyeonggi Province. The findings indicate as follows: First, the industrial-educational adjunct teacher system is necessary in terms of teachers responsible for specific subjects, practical education reflecting industrial demands, and providing employment information to students, which was also the role of industrial-educational adjunct teachers. Second, the classes taught by industrial-educational adjunct teachers are operated through team teaching with regular teachers, which was positively perceived. Third, there are difficulties related to recruitment and compensation in the operation of the industrial-educational adjunct teacher system. Based on the research results, we suggest that the necessity of stable operation of the industrial-educational adjunct teacher system, of a system for the spread of teacher professionalism transmitted through team teaching within schools, and of improving recruitment and compensation systems.
