병사의 군기교육대 입소 경험에 관한 현상학적 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 병사의 군기교육대 입소 경험은 어떠한지 그 경험의 의미가 무엇인지 심층적으로 탐색하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 군기교육대 입소자를 대상으로 한 번 이상의 경험이 있는 6명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 2023년 9월부터 11월까지 2개월 동안 총 2회 심층 면담하고 Giorgi(2012)의 현상학적 탐구 방법에 근거하여 연구를 진행 하였다. 연구 결과 의미단위 34개, 하위구성 요소 9개 구성요소 4개가 도출되었다. 병사의 군기교육대 입소 경험의 4개 구성요소는 군기교육대 입소 전 생각, 군기교육대 입소 시 겪는 어려움, 군기교육대 입소 시 받은 교육 경험, 군기교육대 입소 후 변화이다. 첫째, 군기교육대 입소 전 생각은 군대 생활에 대한 두려움, 가족 지인 걱정으로 나타났다. 둘째, 군기교육대 입소 시 겪는 어려움은 심리적, 물리적 통제, 입소자 내부 갈등으로 나타났다. 셋째, 군기교육대 입소 시 받은 교육 경험은 심리적 안정, 인성 변화로 나타났다. 넷째, 군기교육대 입소 후 변화에서는 자아 성찰, 타인에 대한 감사한 마음, 준법정신 향상으로 드러났다. 군기교육대 입소 경험이 어떤 의미나 가치를 가지는지 질적연구를 통해 심층적으로 분석한 본 연구 결과는 병사의 군기교육대 입소 경험에 대한 이해를 확장하는데 의의가 있으며, 군기교육대 입소자를 위한 프로그램 개발이나 병영 상담에 유용한 자료로 활용될 것으로 사료 된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore in depth what the soldier's experience of entering a military training center is like and what the meaning of that experience is. Accordingly, in this study, six people with at least one experience targeting military training college residents were selected as research participants, and a total of two in-depth interviews were conducted over a two-month period from September to November 2023, using the phenomenological inquiry method of Giorgi (2012). The study was conducted based on this. As a result of the study, 34 meaning units, 9 sub-components, and 4 components were derived. The four components of a soldier's experience of entering the military training academy are thoughts before entering the military training academy, difficulties experienced upon entering the military training college, educational experience received upon entering the military training college, and changes after entering the military training college. First, the thoughts before entering the military training center were fear of military life and worries about family and acquaintances. Second, the difficulties experienced when entering the military training center were psychological, physical control, and internal conflict among residents. Third, the educational experience received upon entering the Military Training College resulted in psychological stability and personality changes. Fourth, changes after entering the Military Training College were revealed as self-reflection, gratitude toward others, and improvement in law-abiding spirit. The results of this study, which analyzed in-depth through qualitative research the meaning and value of the experience of entering military training colleges, are significant in expanding the understanding of soldiers' experiences of entering military training colleges, and can be used to develop programs or provide barracks counseling for military training college entrants. It is believed that it will be used as useful data.
