유아특수교사의 특수교육지원센터 장애영아 학급 순회교육 경험에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 특수교육지원센터 장애영아 학급 순회교육에 관한 유아특수교사의 경험이 어떠한지 이해하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 경기지역 특수교육지원센터에서 1년 이상 장애영아 학급 운영 경험이 있는 유아특수교사 4인을 대상으로 심층 면담을 시행하였다. 수집한 자료는 연속적 비교법에 따라 분석하였으며, 개념 45개, 하위범주 10개, 상위범주 3개가 도출되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자들은 맨땅에 헤딩, 낯선 길, 도움의 손길, 나침반이 필요해요 등 장애영아 학급은 모험이라고 하였다. 둘째, 연구 참여자들은 보람을 발견하는 교실, 움직이는 교실, 가족이 참여하는 교실, 홍보하는 교실 등 장애영아 학급은 다가서는 교육이라고 하였다. 셋째, 연구참여자들은 육아의 8할을 하는 교사, 내비게이션 역할을 하는 교사 등 장애영아 학급은 돌봄을 함께하는 교실이라고 하였다. 본 연구는 향후 장애영아 학급을 운영하게 될 교사들에게 간접적인 경험 제공과 더불어 실제적인 학급 운영의 기초 자료로 활용될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of Early Childhood Special Education(ECSE) teachers who run itinerant education for infants with disabilities in special education support center. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with four ECSE teachers who had more than one year of experience managing classes for disabled infants at a special education support center in the Gyeonggi region. The collected data were analyzed according to the continuous comparison method, and 45 core-concepts, 10 subcategories, and 3 upper-categories were derived. The research results are as follows. First, the participants said that the disabled infant class was an adventure, such as heading on bare ground, unfamiliar roads, helping hands, and needing a compass. Second, the participants said that classes for infants with disabilities are an approachable education, including classrooms where students find reward, classrooms that move, classrooms where families participate, and classrooms that promote. Third, the participants said that the classroom for disabled infants is a classroom where care is shared, including teachers who do 80% of the childcare and teachers who play the role of navigation. This study will provide indirect experience to teachers who will operate classes for infants with disabilities in the future and will be used as basic data for practical class management.
