비스무스 산화물을 포함한 미용 하이드로겔 렌즈의 제조 및 물성

국문 초록

본 연구는 하이드로겔 렌즈의 기본 재료인 2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA), 교차결합제인 Ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA), 개시제인 2,2’-Azobis(2-methylpropionitrile)(AIBN)을 기본 조합으로 하고, 친수성 첨가제인 N,NDimethylacrylamide(DMA), N-vinyl pyrrolidone(NVP), Methacrylic acid(MA)와 나노 물질인 Bismuth(III) oxide의 조합으로 100℃에서 1시간 열 중합하였다. 제조된 콘택트렌즈의 물성을 측정한 결과, 함수율은 38-50%, 굴절률은 1.413-1.435, 인장강도는 0.086-0.187kgf/mm² 의 결과를 나타내었다. 제조된 콘택트렌즈는 친수성 첨가제와 관계없이 Bismuth(III) oxide의 함량이 증가할수록 인장강도가 향상되었으며, Bismuth(III) oxide의 고유의 색이 렌즈에도 그대로 발현되면서 노란색의 틴트효과를 나타내었다 . 특히, NVP와 Bismuth(III) oxide의 조합의 인장강도가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타나 내구성을 가진 미용 콘택트렌즈 소재로써 응용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study used lenses made using 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA), a basic material for hydrogel lenses, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA), and an initiator 2,2'-Azobis (2-methylpropionitrile) (AIBN). A combination of the hydrophilic additives N, N-Dimethylacrylamide (DMA), N-vinyl pyrrolidone (NVP), methacrylic acid (MA), and the nanomaterial Bismuth (III) oxide was added to prepare a Comparative group lens. As a result of measuring the change in the physical properties of the produced contact lens, the result was a water content of 38-50%, a refractive index of 1.413-1.435, and a tensile strength of 0.0866-0.1877kgf/mm². Regardless of the hydrophilic additive, the prepared contact lens showed tensile strength as the content of Bismuth (III) oxide increased, and the unique color of Bismuth (III) oxide was expressed in the lens as it was. In particular, the combination of NVP and Bismuth (III) oxide has the best tensile strength, so it is judged that it can be applied as a material for beauty contact lenses with durability.
