직업계열 전문교과 교사의 미래 중등직업교육 교원 역량에 관한 중요도-실행도 차이 분석(IPGA)

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 직업계열 전문교과 교사를 대상으로 미래 중등직업교육 교원 역량에 관한 중요도-실행도 차이 분석(IPGA)을 실시하여 이들의 역량을 개선하기 위한 전반적인 시사점을 도출하는 데 있었다. 모집단은 전국의 특성화고 및 마이스터고에 재직 중인 직업계열 전문교과 교사로, 표본 크기는 총 380명으로 설정하였다. 표집은 교사의 소속 학교 유형 및 소재지, 담당교과의 세부계열을 고려하여 학교 단위로 층화표집을 실시하였다. 자료 수집을 위한 조사 도구는 설문지가 이용되었으며, 선행연구 고찰 및 전문가 자문을 통해 미래 중등직업교육 교원 역량의 내용을 중심으로 개발되었다. 자료 수집은 온라인 설문조사 시스템을 통해 이루어졌으며, 무응답 및 불성실 응답을 제외하고 최종적으로 280명이 응답한 자료를 활용하였다. IPGA를 위해 STATA 프로그램을 활용하였으며, 분석 시 통계적 유의수준(p-value)은 0.05로 설정하였다. 연구의 주요 결론으로 첫째, 미래 중등직업교육 교원의 새로운 역할 기대에 따라 직업계열 전문교과 교사에게 ICT/디지털, 연구, 산업이해 및 직무수행, 트렌드 및 변화 대응, 교수 설계, 교수학습지도, 지역 및 산학 협력, 진로 지도, 생활 지도, 대인 관계 및 의사소통, 리더십과 같은 역량이 요구될 것이다. 둘째, 미래 중등직업교육 교원 역량 중 현시점에서 직업계열 전문교과 교사의 개선 요구가 높은 역량은 ICT/디지털, 트렌드 변화 및 대응, 교수학습지도, 진로 지도, 생활 지도, 대인 관계 및 의사소통을 위한 역량이다. 셋째, 미래 중등직업교육 교원 역량 중 미래 시점에서 직업계열 전문교과 교사의 개선 요구가 높은 역량은 ICT/디지털, 트렌드 변화 및 대응, 진로 지도, 대인 관계 및 의사소통 역량이다. 제언에서는 미래 중등직업교육 교원에게 요구되는 역량과 이에 대한 필요성을 체계적으로 확인하고 검증하기 위한 후속연구가 이루어질 필요가 있으며, 교원 양성, 임용 및 재교육의 체제를 개선하기 위한 주기적인 연구와 노력이 필요할 것으로 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to derive overall implications for improving their competency by conducting an Importance-Performance Difference Analysis(IPGA) on the competency of future secondary vocational education teachers targeting specialized subject. The sample size was set to 380 teachers. For sampling, stratified sampling was conducted for each school in consideration of the teacher's school type and location, and the detailed categories of the subject. Data collection was conducted through an online survey system, and the final responses of 280 people were used, excluding non-response and insincere responses. The STATA program was used for IPGA, and the p-value was set to 0.05. As the main conclusion of the study, first, according to the expectations of the new role of future secondary vocational education teachers, competencies such as ICT/digital, research, industry understanding and job skill, response to trends and change, instructional design, teaching and learning skill, regional and industry-school cooperation, career guidance, life guidance, interpersonal relationships and communication, and leadership will be required. Second, among future competencies, the competencies that require improvement at the present time are ICT/digital, response to trend and change, teaching and learning skill, career guidance, life guidance, interpersonal relationships and communication. Third, among future competencies, the competencies that require high improvement at a future point of view are ICT/digital, response to trend and change, career guidance, interpersonal relationships and communication. Fourth, efforts in various aspects will be required to strengthen the competency of teachers in future secondary vocational education, and overall improvements such as teacher training and recruitment are required.
