국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 역할놀이 중심의 장애체험 활동이 장애유아에 대한 비장애유아의 태도에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이었다. 연구설계는 단일집단 사전-사후 검사이며, 연구대상은 16명(남아 9명, 여아 7명)이며, 8주 동안 16회기를 통해 시각장애, 청각장애, 발달장애, 지체장애의 장애영역별로 장애 특성을 이해하기 위하여 역할놀이 중심의 장애체험 활동을 각 장애영역별로 4회기씩 총 16회기 실시하였다. 비장애유아의 태도를 측정하기 위하여 Voeltz(1982)를 기초로 하여 제작된 측정도구를 사용하였고, 각 회기 장애체험활동 후 아동으로 하여금 자신의 느낌을 그림과 글로 표현하도록 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 역할놀이 중심의 장애체험 활동이 장애유아에 대한 비장애유아의 태도를 긍정적으로 향상시켰다. 둘째, 역할놀이 중심의 장애체험 활동이 장애유아에 대한 비장애유아의 태도를 향상시키는데 있어서 성별 간 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 셋째, 역할놀이 중심의 장애체험 활동 후 작성한 활동지를 분석한 결과, 비장애유아들은 프로그램이 발달장애 영역을 이해하는데 가장 큰 도움이 되었다고 인식하였다. 후속연구를 위한 제언과 통합교육 현장을 위한 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of a role play-based program for experiencing disabilities on the attitudes of nondisabled children toward children with disabilities. The subjects were 16 nondisabled children(9 boys and 7 girls). The average age of the subjects was 4.6 years old. The research design was a single group pre- and post- design. The 16-session role play-based program was implemented for eight weeks. The program included various activities for experiencing visual disabilities, auditory disabilities, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. The results of the study were as follows: (a) The role play-based program influenced the attitudes of nondisabled children toward children with disabilities positively. (b) There was no difference between the boys' group and the girls' group in the attitudinal changes. (c) Nondisabled children perceived that the role play-based program was effective for changing their attitudes. The recommendations for future studies suggested on the basis of the research findings are as follows: (a) It should be figured out that effective components of the program package. (b) Various systematic strategies and programs should be developed for changing nondisabled children's attitudes toward children with disabilities.
