영문 초록

The Bible is referring to both the power of God’s remarks and the land in where God’s words are held up in the restoration of Christian gospel. For the seeds of gospel spread in one’s spirit to thrive, the field of the spirit is significant. However, recently, depression is a principal obstacle for the resuscitation of the spirit for even Christians. Depression, being a psychological disorder, is a complex of many symptoms, and it shows in various forms like emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and physical aspects to each person. Christians cannot be an exception from depression. In the Christian history shown in the Bible, we can also often see many characters suffering from these depression symptoms. The treatment of depression varies on how one sees the cause of it. In a medical science way, depression’s cause is thought as genetic inheritance and depends on medicine treatment. For a counseling psychological approach, one chooses a psychoanalytic approach, cognitive approach, behavioral approach, or interpersonal therapeutic approach, etc. However, for overcoming depression, one needs integretive approach on the basis of spiritual perspective. The integretive approach is to use medicine treatment. and psychological intervention skills in the reframing of depression and the self through the Bible Christian historical resource.
