국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 음악 교과서에 제시된 제한된 음악 요소 중심의 창작 활동의 한계점을 보완하기 위하여 대안적 자료를 분석하고, 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 현행 음악과 교육과정과 현행 초등학교 3∼6학년 교과서의 창작 활동에 관한 선행연구를 분석하고, 분석 결과와 제언을 바탕으로 초등 음악교과서의 창작 활동 자료의 한계점과 개선 방향을 도출하였다. 이어『매직핑거 피아노』 레슨 교재 총 7권에 제시된 11개의 대표적인 창작 활동을 분석하여, 초등음악에서의 창작 활동을 위한 대안적 자료로서의 가능성을 탐색하였다. 『매직핑거 피아노』에 수록된 창작 활동 자료를 한 음 사용 리듬 중심 창작 활동, 두음 사용 리듬 중심 창작 활동, 음계 중심 창작 활동, 음정 중심 창작 활동, 형식 중심 창작 활동으로 분석한 결과, 음악 요소 중심의 창작 활동과 더불어 장르의 다양성 확보, 기악 연계 활동이 가능하여 선행 연구에서 도출된 개선 방향을 충족함을 확인하였다. 또한『매직핑거 피아노』는 피아노 학습자를 대상으로 개발된 교재이기는 하나, 실로폰, 리코더, 멜로디언 등의 교실 가락악기를 사용하여 창작 산출물의 재현과 즉흥연주로의 구현이 가능한 자료가 제시되어 초등음악에서 음악 요소 중심 창작 활동을 위한 대안적 자료로 활용 가능하며, 교사 또한 이러한 자료를 바탕으로 더 다양한 창작 활동이 응용될 수 있도록 지속적인 연구가 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the creative activities presented in『Magic Finger Piano』 method books as an alternative material for creative activities centered on music elements in elementary schools, and to present them as appropriate source for music creative activities in elementary schools. For this purpose, previous research on the current music curriculum and creative activities of current 3-6th grade textbooks was analyzed, and based on the analysis results and suggestions, the limitations and improvement directions of the materials of creative activities of elementary music textbooks were derived. This study then analyzed 11 representative creative activities presented in a total of seven volumes of 『Magic Finger Piano』 method books to explore the possibility of being an alternative source for creative activities in elementary music. As a result of analyzing the creative activity materials contained in 『Magic Finger Piano』 as rhythm-centered creative activities using one note, rhythm-centered creative activities using two notes, a various scale-centered creative activity as mode or minor, melody centered creative activities, and form-centered creative activities. In addition to these musical creative activities, it was confirmed that the improvement direction derived from previous studies was satisfied by securing diversity of musical genres and activities related to instrumental music. Although the textbook was developed for piano learners, materials that could be reproduced and implemented as improvised performances were presented using classroom instruments such as xylophone, recorder, and melodion as well as piano. Teachers are also required to continue research so that more diverse creative activities can be applied based on these materials.
