영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to examine follow-up effects of the unemployed vocational evaluation enforced by the Ministry of Labour since 1998. Specifically, this study focused on measuring usefulness of the evaluation, exploring obstacle factors when utilizing the evaluation results, and investigating strategies for maximizing utilization of the evaluation results. Based on the results of the study, the following policy suggestions were made First, the evaluation for unemployed vocational training should be continued at the central government level. Second, the evaluation results should be utilized more in the policy decision making for unemployed vocational training than present. Third, the evaluation standards for unemployed vocation training should be made more precisely in consideration of the characteristics of each unemployed vocational training program. Fourth, the evaluation should be processed with more focus on the field situation than the documents. Finally, the range of incentives for the evaluation results should be expanded more than present.
