성인발달장애인의 평생교육 참여 영향요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 성인발달장애인의 평생교육참여에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고 그 결과를 토대로 평생교육 참여를 제고할 수 있는 방안을 도출하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 30세 이상 65세 미만 성인발달장애인 427명을 대상으로 하였다. 분석방법으로는 빈도분석, χ²검증, 로지스틱 회귀분석(Logistic regression)을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 성별, 교육수준, 주돌봄자 유형, 거주지, 취업 여부에 따라 평생교육참여에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연령, 교육수준, 질환유무, ADL이 평생교육 참여에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 즉, 연령이 낮을수록, 교육수준이 높을수록, 질환이 없을수록, ADL수준이 높을수록 평생교육 참여도 높게 나타났다. 이 같은 결과를 바탕으로 성인발달장애인 평생교육 참여확대를 위한 지원방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect the participation of the adult with developmental disabilities in lifelong education. Also, based on the results, it is to derive ways to increase participation in lifelong education. The subjects of this study were 427 adults with developmental disabilities aged 30 to under 65. The analytical methods were analyzed by frequency analysis, ² verification, and logistic regression. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were differences in participation in lifelong education according to gender, education, type of caregiver, place of residence, and employment. Second, age, education level, disease status, and ADL were factors that contributed to lifelong education participation. In other words, younger age, higher education level, no disease and higher ADL level was the higher participation in lifelong education. On the basis of these results, this study proposed the some strategies to increase participation in lifelong education for adults with developmental disabilities.
