국문 초록

본고에서는 전북지역을 중심으로 청소년의 문화 활동 실태와 그 대책을 살펴보았다. 청소년들의 문화 활동은 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 그 시설이나 지원도 지속적으로 향상되고 있다. 하지만 청소년의 문화 활동 욕구를 아직도 지역사회의 각종 문화시설이 담기에는 부족함이 많이 있다. 이런상황 속에서도 청소년이 우리 시대의 문화주체로서 당당히 서기 위해서는 입시교육, 경제문제, 시설문제 등 다양한 문화장애물을 보다 적극적으로 제거되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 청소년 문화 활동에 전반적인 체계를 구축할 필요가 있으며, 이 문화체계를 중심으로 문화 활동 공간 및 시설 지원, 교육 지원, 경제 자원, 지역사회 지원 그리고 청소년 문화네트워크 구축 지원 등이 요구된다. 이 지원을 통하여 지역 청소년들은 보다 주체적이고 적극적으로 문화 활동을 펼쳐서 자신들의 끼를 발산할 수 있을 것으로 본다. 이는 우리사회의 문화적 자산 축적을 가져와서 우리들이 문화적 풍요를 누리는데 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

I studied the situation and those alternatives of youth s culture activities in Jeonbuk Province. In Jeonbuk Province youth s culture activities are increasing year by year, and facilities and supports for their activities are improved continuously. But there is insufficiency of culture facilities and supports to satisfy youth s culture desires still. In this situation, culture barriers, education for university entrance, economic problem, and facilities problem etc. must be decreased actively so that youths live as culture subjects. For satisfaction of youth s culture activities, it is necessary for us to settle system of culture. And then in this system it demands space and facility support, education support, economic support, culture network support for youths. I think the youths can radiate actively their cultural instincts through theses supports. And supports for youth culture can contribute accumulation of cultural property and cultural welfare.
