국문 초록

본 연구는 중국가계 패널조사(CFPS) 자료를 사용하여 유동 인구 여부 등이 가계 소비에 영향을 미치는 요인을 연구하였으며, 통제변수로는 가구 소득, 가구 구성원 수, 주택 유형, 가구 소유자 성별, 교육 수준 및 연령과 같은 요인이 도시와 농촌 지역 호구 차이에 의해 소비지출에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것을 실증적으로 제시하였다. 또한, 이 연구는 2010년과 2018년의 CFPS 자료를 결합하여 두 기간 사이의 유동 인구가 소비에 미치는 변화를 제시하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 유동 인구는 비유동 인구와 대비하여 소비수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 농촌지역 및 도시지역에서 유동 인구의 소비억지가 발생하였다. 유동 인구에 대한 사회보장 서비스가 필요함을 시사한다고 할 수 있다. 특히, 이러한 격차 중 2010년의 유동 인구와 비유동 인구간 소비 차이가 농촌 및 도시간 격차에 대비하여, 2018년에는 농촌 및 도시지역간 격차가 심화될 뿐만 아니라, 농촌지역내 격차 감소와 대비해서도 도시지역에서는 오히려 더 심각한 소비 감소가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the factors influencing household consumption among the floating population (commonly referred to as the Family Registry System) using data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS). It examines how variables such as household income, household size, housing type, gender of household heads, education level, and age impact consumption decisions in both urban and rural areas. Additionally, the study compares the determinants of consumption between two years by integrating CFPS data from 2010 and 2018. Furthermore, with a specific focus on the floating population, the study explores how the factors influencing consumption evolved between 2010 and 2018. The findings indicate that the overall consumption of the floating population did not improve in 2018 compared to 2010. Notably, the consumption of the floating population originating from urban areas declined in 2018 relative to that of the floating population from rural areas.
