국문 초록

Huang Zi’s cantata “Song of Everlasting Sorrow” emerged at a critical juncture in the 1930s marked by national crisis and cultural collision. Based on Bai Juyi’s eponymous poem, it uses the tragedy of love to reflect the era’s background. The work integrates Western cantata structure with Chinese narrative logic, divided into ten movements, presenting key plot points through solo singing, chorus, and orchestra. It advances traditional melodies to a modern stage, harmonizing with the tonal qualities of Western harmony, achieving a fusion of timbres from Chinese and Western instruments. Its cultural value lies in establishing a path of Sino-Western integration, maintaining a local orientation, conveying tragic aesthetics across eras, setting a benchmark for the development of new Chinese music, and serving as a cultural bridge connecting tradition and modernity.

영문 초록

黄自的清唱剧《长恨歌》诞生于30 年代民族危机跟文化碰撞的当口，以白居易的同名诗篇为蓝本，借助爱情悲剧影射时代背景。作品把西方清唱剧结构与中国叙事逻辑进行融合，以十个乐章划分，采用独唱、合唱与乐队呈现关键情节，把传统旋律推进到现代阶段，与西方和声的声韵相契合，做到中西乐器音色的融合。其文化价值体现在确立了中西融合的路径，坚守本土定位，传达历经各时代的悲剧审美，给中国新音乐发展树立标杆，成为搭建传统与现代的文化纽带。
