여성신학의 역사적 배경, 그 특징과 유형들

국문 초록

본 논문은 여성신학이 생성된 역사적 배경, 그것의 주요 특징들과 유형들 내지 입장들을 제시하고자 한다. 여성신학이 생성된 역사적 배경은 예수 그리스도의 하나님 나라 운동과 처음 기독교 공동체, 초기 기독교의 소종파운동 내에서 내의 여성들의 적극적 활동으로 소급될 수 있지만, 본 논문은 중세기 수도원의 여성들과, 종교개혁 시대에 일어난 재세례파 공동체에서 일어난 여성들의 활동에서 그 배경을 추적한다. 그러나 본 논문은 여성신학의 형성에 획기적 자극을 준 역사적 배경을 근대 휴머니즘, 계몽주의, 프랑스혁명기의 여성 운동과 칼 마르크스와 그의 후계자들에게서 발견한다. 본 논문은 여성신학의 대표적 특징을 교의학적 명제에서 출발하지 않고, 남성우월주의가 지배하는 사회 속에서 고난받는 여성의 삶의 구체적이고 특수한 상황에서 출발하는 일종의 “상황신학”임을 밝힌다. 신학의 역사에서 그것은 고난받는 여성들의 문제로부터 출발하는 최초의 신학적 이론이다. 그것은 하나의 이론으로 머물지 않고, 실천으로 넘어가고자 하는 특징을 가진다. 따라서 여성신학은 실천 지향의 신학이다. 본 논문은 여성신학의 유형 내지 방향으로 1) 성서와 기독교 신앙에 기초한 비판적, 개혁적 유형, 2) 탈성서적, 탈교회적 유형, 3) 고대 시대의 여신 종교 내지 여성 영성으로의 재활을 주장하는 반기독교적, 세속종교적 유형을 기술한다. 나아가 결론에서 여성신학은 하나님 나라를 이 땅 위에 세우고자 하는 메시아적 해방신학의 한 유형으로, 단지 일부 여성들의 문제가 아니라 교회의 미래가 달린 문제임을 드러낸다. 아울러 탈기독교적, 급진적 여성신학의 문제성을 지적하고, 여성의 사회적, 정치적 해방의 문제는 물론, 모든 인류의 기본 문제인 죄로부터의 해방의 문제도 다룰 것을 제의한다.

영문 초록

The essay aims to describe the historical background from which the Feministic Theology began, with its characters and main trends. The historical background can be pursued in the active contributions of women in the movement of Jesus for Kingdom of God, the first chrisian community and the small sects of the Early Church. But the essay finds the more significant background in the important nuns of the Middle Ages, represented by Hildegard von Bingen, and the self sacrificial contributions of women of the Anabaptistic Communities in the period of Luther’s Reformation. Accoding to the essay, the epoch-making background for beginning of Feministic Theology lies in the modern Humanism, Enlightenment, French Revolution, Karl Marx with his followers. The representative character of Feministic Theology consists in the fact that the theology does not begin from a dogmatic subject but from the concrete situation of the life of women with their suffers through the male chauvinism. Insofar the Feministic Theology is a “situation theology”. In the history of theology it is the first theological theory which begins with the probem of women in their suffers. It does not will remain as a theory but exceed into praxis. Feministic Theology is a praxis-orientated theology. The essay finds the main trends of Feministic Theology 1) in the critical, reformative viewpoint grounded on the Bible and christian faith, 2) in the entbibliccal, dechurched viewpoint, 3) in the antichristian, secular religional viewpoint which tries to actualize the ancient Woman Religion or Woman Spirituality. In the conclusion the essay comprehends the Feministic Theology as a shape of the Messianic Liberation Theology which tries to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth. “The problem” of the Feministic Theology is not merely a problem of “some women” in the Church, but a probem which can determine its future. With a short ciritic on the radical, antkchristian viewpoint, the essay indicates the task of the Feministic Theology not only for the social, political liberation but also for the liberation from the sin whicht is the basic problem of all human mankinds.
